​Tanka and Mato named for the Lakota words  Bison and Bear.  These two characters most remind me of "Tuck" and "Roll" from the animated movie a Bug's Life.  They're here, there and everywhere like a couple of lil' jumping beans!  They do not think of themselves as small.  In fact they will get right in with the rough housing the Berners do,  generally hanging off of one of their tails growling like crazy!  They are sweet friendly and fearless!  They love the funny farm and doing chores as much as the big dogs.   They often use there poodle "smarts" to escape the fencing and roam the property like the bosses of  the place, coming and going in with the big dogs as they please!  They both have excellent confirmation, sweet temperaments and amazing coats!  They can both get long beautiful curly locks without matting up!  We love them and can't imagine our pack without them!  ​
